Administrative and HR Resources
- Faculty Affairs Site — the central hub for UMBC faculty administrative
resources including policies, contracts, promotion and tenure
guidelines, and HR services. - Travel Approvals and Reimbursements — submit and manage travel-related
reimbursement requests. Note: this system handles travel
reimbursements only. You must be logged in to access the
portal. - Faculty Family Support — information on family-friendly
policies and support programs available to UMBC faculty,
including parental leave, dependent care resources, and
flexible work arrangements.
Professional Development
- Faculty Development Center — offers workshops, consultations, and resources
to support teaching effectiveness, course design, and
scholarly development for all UMBC faculty. - Adjunct Faculty Resources — resources specifically designed for
adjunct and part-time faculty, including teaching support,
campus orientation materials, and access to Faculty
Development Center programs.
