Description
Join us after break to welcome guest speaker Mr. Shannon Garrett, LMSW, LCADC, a graduate of UMBC and UMB! He has been working in the field as a social worker since 1992. Mr. Shannon has specialized in the treatment of SUD and Mental Health as co-occurring disorders. He has developed a specific skill set engaging teens and their families to navigate change in the face of Substance Health concerns. Mr. Shannon has worked in residential treatment, outpatient treatment SUD, outpatient treatment MH, and early intervention groups in High Schools and Middle Schools. He is a husband, a dad and a person in long term recovery. Lunch will be provided so come with an appetite to learn as well as eat!
